Stuart is Founder and CEO of Alpha Lab 40. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer of Oceanwood Capital Management, Europe’s longest running event driven hedge fund, which spun out of Tudor Capital Management in 2008. Prior to that he held a variety of roles at Bluecrest Capital Management and Morgan Stanley. He is ACCA qualified and graduated with a master’s in Economics from the University of Glasgow in 2010.

Julius is Head of Trading at Alpha Lab 40. Prior to Alpha Lab 40 he was a quant trader at Quant Capital KG, a European ETF Market Maker, prior to that he was a quant developer at Aquantum AG, a commodities hedge fund. Julius holds an MsC in Statistical Physics from RWTH Aachen University, where he graduated in 2013. He also holds a PhD in Computer Science awarded from the University of Dusseldorf.

Prior to his current role, he enjoyed a seven-year tenure at PwC, where he specialized in audit services for asset management clients.
